I am a PhD candidate in the department of communication at UCSD. I conduct research on LGBT human rights in India within a global and transnational framework. I study issues of privacy, public subjecthood, cinematic and popular representations of gender and sexuality as well as legal, medical and activist discourses on homosexuality in the Indian context.

At LCHC, I work with a team of graduate student researchers to document the history of the lab and organize the archive of research conducted over the past two decades.
