For considering it of general interest, I'd like to share with all of  
you the following faculty position announcement.

The Department of Psychology of Universidad de los Andes (Bogotá,  
Colombia) is seeking three full-time professors with expertise in one  
of the following areas of expertise: basic psychological processes  
(memory, thinking, learning, perception), clinical psychology, and  
social or organizational psychology. Candidates will be expected to  
develop research or intervention programs in their areas of expertise,  
obtain external research funding, teach in general areas of psychology  
for undergraduate levels and in their scientific or professional areas  
of expertise for graduate levels, and actively participate in the  
activities of the Department. More information about the Department of

Candidates should have a doctoral degree in psychology or relevant  
areas. Candidates who are close to complete their doctoral studies  
will be considered, with the understanding that they will complete  
their studies in a timely manner. In such cases, the University may  
provide partial funding for the completion of their doctoral studies.  
Evidence of publications in scientific journals and participation in  
research projects is necessary. Teaching experience is desirable but  
not necessary.
The Department is hiring candidates in the category of Assistant or  
Associate Professor. Salary and category will be commensurate with  
qualifications. Universidad de los Andes offers highly competitive
