I am currently a senior researcher in the a Faculty of Psychology, Moscow State
University. I work under the leadership of Prof. Alexander Shmelyov you know
rather well and keep contacts with him by e-mail.
The group of psychologists working with me on problems of psychodiagnostics,
psychotherapy, organizational consulting, personnel management is interested
in contacts and collaboration with American colleagues. I am writing to inqure
any opportunities for such collaboration.
Interests of our group are focused on development and adaptation of
psychodiagnostics methods and tests, educational programmes including
adaptation and distributing of American programmes for business education. We
conduct research studies in the fields of psychodiagnostics, psychotherapy,
psychology of business, organizational consulting, human resources management.
Could you recommend anybody from your colleagues who might be interested in
these problems and collaborating with our group? We would like to invite
somebody of American specialists to visit Moscow State University and to give a
few lectures, seminars, consultations in the areas pointed above. Or maybe you
would accept such a preposition?
Unfortunately, at the moment we are not able to finance travel and lodging
expenses of foreign specialists because of the economical situation in Russia
but we know there are foundations helping educational programmes in Eastern
Europe and Russia and sponsoring work of western specialists in these
countries.
We would appreciate your help if you find any opportunities of sponsor help.
