Re: [xmca] help on conscious awareness etc
Andy
I'm not sure if this is too far off your path, but V. Reddy in exploring the
"emergence of mind" in very young children wrote a chapter in her recent
book on the topic of lying while exploring [and critquing] "theory of
mind" in either its "theory" or "simulation" framework. Children's emerging
ability to deliberately lie is a major focus of her EMPIRICAL studies. She
certainly has a perspective on the emerging capacity of conscious
awareness. Where are you going with this line of inquiry?
