RE: [xmca] help: Vygotsky and pedology (reading Holowinsky, part 2)

By my part, I can say that all this was very helpful to understand better. Of course we can not absolutely "condemn" our colleague Holowinsky, spite so many misunderstandings. Of course is so irritant to listen somebody proclaiming as absolutely right what is really so uncertain, or even exactly the contrary... But, as we can interpret from Spinoza (not exactly these words): "a mistake is a partial knowledge"... While we not know the whole, we will remain in some level of mistake... And "the whole", all it, is very difficult to be grasped by a single person, and even by a broader collectivity... Certainly, in future, many people will laugh because our incomprehension too - if (only if) history go ahead in a "progressive" fashion. But - "here-and-now" - the better, more precise, critical, version must be prevalent, ever we can define the objective criteria for this critic view. Then, I must say thank you, very much. I hope to see many more "recent past" misunderstandings being "desconstructed" in nearest future, here or in another forums. By my part, as a outsider learner, is very important. Because I'm always laughing(crying) because my own hermeneutic mistakes/partial comprehensions... This is part of (historical and personal) learning process too...

Until then we have no compelling reasons that anybody ever banned Vygotsky,--despite what the guys kept telling us all the way--and may equally believe that somebody was just not persistent enough to have the stuff published.
