I find Chuck Goodwin's work on gesture and embodied practices among
the very best and Candy Goodwin's new book, The Hidden Life of Girls:
Games of Stance, Status, and Exclusion another excellent example.
Both do such terrific work--so instructive yet clear and wonderful to
