Nate,
These are wonderful articles, but I think that this should be reserved for
the CHAT 102 - second part of this course. I was under impression that there
are a lot of folks who really want to get the basics - The newer articles
sometimes imply a lot and that background knowledge is what some people
would like to see. At least that's how I understood the purpose for the on
line course.
I would love to discuss the articles you proposed here, and we should
organize a discussion specifically focused on the "New Developments in
CHAT". What do you think?

Mike,
Personally, I am not that up on the new stuff and maybe there isn't any?
I guess I would see most of the authors mentioned in a "generation ?"
context. They all have published very interesting and essential CHAT
work, and while they of course are still publishing, I would not see it
as contemporary.
Lets see, the following from MCA would be a start.
*Keeping Resistance in View in an Activity Theory Analysis* 2

um/10749039/v9n1/s2/p2>
Judith Diamondstone
*Artifact Mediation in Dewey and in Cultural-Historical Activity Theory*
297

um/10749039/v8n4/s3/p297>
Reijo Miettinen
*Mathematical Problems and Goals in Children's Play of an Educational
Game* 201

um/10749039/v7n3/s8/p201>
Steven R. Guberman; Geoffrey B. Saxe
It would be nice to have some from ISCARAT too, and other comtemporay
applications.
I would be willing to help get acessible readings from your earlie r2-5
- Revolutionary roots through AT. Do we have specific reading selected?
