Student Leadership - Red Ribbon Week
Student Leadership will be leading some Red Ribbon Week activities. Red
Ribbon Week is October 25 - October 29. The week gives students the
chance to pledge to be drug free. We will be distributing workbooks and
ribbons to all teachers in grades 2 - 5 for each of your students. As the
workbooks are completed, students will be given a ribbon. Also, between
the days of Wednesday, October 20 and Friday, October 22 a large piece of
butcher paper will be passed from classroom to classroom. Teachers should
take time (we figured about 10 minutes per class) to help students trace
their feet onto the poster. The poster will be white, we would like you
to trace in red for Red Ribbon Week. Our goal is to have each student's
feet traced on one huge poster which we will hang in the cafeteria for Red
Ribbon Week under the caption "Joining Together to Stamp Out Drugs".
Also, the kitchen staff will be involved by choosing one standout student
from each class. This student will be given a red tulip bulb. The bulbs
will be planted in front of the school. Thanks for your help in all of
this.

i began an informal chat methods analysis of this notice. i soon became
cross-eyed and boggled. anyway, hopefully this is better than a
chain-letter, and it is one possible response to "42".
by the bye, the "42" was the name of a smashingly hot gay disco here in
denver in the 1980's. another answer .....
