In case my original message of November 21 got lost in the end-of-term,
holiday-season press of duties, let me once again urge job-seekers (or anyone
dissatisfied with anomie and looking for a good community of educators to join)
to consider the University of Northern Iowa.

We have a little something for everyone: assistant professorships in elementary
education, department head in curriculum and instruction, a campus-wide
teacher education director, and an associate dean in education. Although the
dates for submission have passed for some of these, the curriculum and
instruction prof and head searches are still very much open, and good
candidates for the associate dean positions probably will have a good chance as
well.

I would be delighted to give more information to anyone who has further
questions.
