Hi, I am a doctoral student in Educational Psychology at University of Illinois
at Chicago. This is my third year in the program. I have been closely involved
in researching children's play in different communities. Currently I am teachin
g a Masters course at UIC called Advanced Educational Psychology. I am also
doing a study of the notion of prolepsis in mother-child pretend play. Theories
of Piaget and Vygotsky are of particular interest to me. I am interested in
cross-cultural studies of children's development in the area of cognition.
