I am a doctoral student in Family Studies with an emphasis in
Early Childhood Development at the University of Connecticut.
I currently hold a Master's degree in Human Development and
Family Relations. I am interested in cultural issues as they
pertain to children and medicine. I am also interested in
folk beliefs of ethnic groups and how they affect their
health care experience, as well as how they might be integrated into
mainstream medical practice.
