Pim and Cynthia:
I would be very interested in papers by both of you. I am
currently working on a grant proposal that would allow me to develop a
program for teaching cultural psychology to students who are headed
for a wide variety of workplace environments.
You both might be interested in one of my findings from ecological
modeling of competing cultural practices. Often, after a fast growing
practice overwhelms its last competitor, it goes extinct itself. The
basic argument is in my *Mind, Culture, and Activity* paper from earlier
this year.
