grey areas

Hi Patrick-- Sure teachers need grey areas as much as kids. I think
my point here is not unrelated to Eugene's ideas about intersubjectivity
not being a matter of total togetherness; teacher and student inhabit
the same setting (sort of) and the same activity system (probably) but
never entirely the same context. Having said this, I guess I am
distinguishing context from activity, which is probably going to open
a can of worms because Yrjo tells us that the activity IS the context
of action. Sigh.
In the Construction Zone, we spoke about "the task" as a strategic
fiction.
