Angel,

Are you looking for straight fiction-type stuff? I'm no expert, but I remember
reading some science fiction by Madeleine L'Engle in the fourth and fifth grade
(I would have been about 10 or 11 years old) that I still find interesting as
an adult. Her most famous book is _A Wrinkle in Time_. You might take a look
at it. I think it won a Newberry award in the 1960"s.
