Thanks, Adam: It was only when I googled the model number that Bill gave that I realised we were talking about audio only. I'm interested also in video (as unobtrusive as possible). I liked Peg's idea of having lots of cameras around, but that's neither appropriate for my study, nor within my budget. Talk about keeping the talk at the level of the concrete :-) Phil
