Hi Paul--
Seems like we ought to be as self-aware as we can be of our audience and
its diversity. We are not in a priveledged position to de-center because
English is the lingua communa :-) and American dominate academic
numbers in that language in particular.
It seems to me that the past few months have made us all more aware. So we
go forward with that thought (sometimes) "in mind." Its really helpful,
I find, when we discuss problems of translation among key concepts in
different languages, and I think it would be interesting to have the
range extended. Where is Arne when we need him!?
