Personally speaking, I am not done with the Lave discussion, Peter. Much as
I am interested in the topic of imagination,
I was hoping we could get a better handle on core issues in critical
ethnography. I have forwarded several of the
comments to Jean, and hopefully she will find time to respond.

I have not heard back from Gomes, whose paper in Portuguese Jean singled
out for special note, along with Dreir and
others.

Locally we have some heavy deadlines looming for lchc folks, so online time
is limited (and judging from recent messages,
we all have deadline-itis more and more of the time!! There is still the
dangling issue of the AERA deadline coming up for
some and SRCD deadlines for others.
