RE: [xmca] Wittgenstein

Andy - I'm curious ... given the incredibly wide-ranging nature of topics, people, moods, what-have-you, that are offered up for discussion here, why "off-line" for Wittgenstein?

[Unrelatedly: don't think some of us failed to notice your rather dismissive remarks about Wittgenstein in a note to Anna Sfard in the 'kitchen-sink/concepts' discussion of three months ago, "Wittgenstein is nice, but I am interested in Vygotsky, not LW" ... I am saying this in a playful-colleaguial way, of course, but that comment did seem so contrary to your scholarly spirit that I have to say, my hair stood on end when I read it.]

Again, just curious ... and you did roust me out of my hiding place, so congratulations (?!) ...  :)

Jerry

could help with a couple of things off line?
