Re: [xmca] Talking consciousness with a neurogeek
I am also a very new beginner myself, reading currently heavily on Vygotsky
and Luria.
I think I do not have enough knowledge to comment and I leave the word to
friends who are really in a position of being our professors in xmca.
As far as I know, and if I am not wrong, Luria continued in a very similar
way as Vygotsky, as far as development and dissolution of higher mental
functions are concerned, whereas he has some articles, written together with
Leontiev, who points to some points to be criticised in Vygotsky's work.
I also think that Dot Robbins' articles who point to the fact that all three
(LSV, ARL and ANL) should be considered in unity as non classical psychology
is valuable.
