Duties include:
- Lead an interdisciplinary team of four staff at the Cornell Lab
Ornithology and collaborators at Northeastern University and the Institute
for Learning Innovation to develop "Crowd ID," a suite of online tools
including Merlin (which uses machine learning algorithms and crowd sourced

- Ensure on-time completion of deliverables.
- Lead meetings.
- Solicit and organize input from internal teams, advisory panel, and
external users.
- Maintain the project within budget.
- Develop Crowd ID tools in line with goals related to informal science
education, including collaboration with evaluators to test the effectiveness
of Crowd ID at helping people learn about birds, improve their observational
skills, and increase participation in citizen science.
- The project leader is a key part of the Cornell Lab's Webby
Award-winning All About Birds team (www.allaboutbirds.org).
- The Cornell Lab of Ornithology is world-renowned for its online
citizen-science and educational projects; authoritative online information

reaching 6 million people each year.
Full-time, annual term appointment. Applicants to provide cover letter,
