Looks super, Richard. Thanks. And Wagner's Nordic materials for older
participants reinforces the point that play may change/transform over
ontogeny but does not go away! One of those odd ideas that only
psychologists seem to have a hard time catching on to. :-))
Re contradictions and motives, I found this statement by a kid in the camps
embodying a kid striving to emulate a role model in the book the camp was
themed on really interesting: "I am not hear to pretend, I am here to
train." There a knot of contradictions for you!
