RE: [xmca] Project Based Learning

What do you mean work Andy? I have seen children become involved in long terms projects as early as two years old. In U.S. cultures project based learning becomes much more difficult as children become older because of the emphasis on individual competition and the idea of zero-sum game that predominates our culture so by the time students get to college many of them hate project based learning (because is demands working together and trusting each other).
As far as increasing test scores, who knows.

Can anyone give me an opinion on the value of Project-Based
Learning. Does it work (in other than privielegd schools)?
What are the main criticism?
