Subject: Two resources for writing and L1 reseachers
TWO RESOURCES FOR WRITING AND L1 RESEARCHERS
1. Studies in Writing: Prepublications & Archives.
EARLI SIG Writing has started a publication server, containing book
chapters, theses, technical reports, research instruments, SIG WRITING
and other conference papers, prepublications of papers etc. Very soon
the SIG WRITING Geneva (2004) conference papers will be uploaded to the
server.
We invite all writing researchers to add their papers, reports and
instruments to this server. PhD supervisors are kindly asked to
stimulate PhD and MA students to upload their theses.
The editors - Eva Lindgren (Sweden), Marielle Leyten (Belgium) & Daphne
van Weijen (the Netherlands) - will check each uploaded entry for
completeness etc. and then publish the entry. At the moment they are
working hard to improve the design of the website shell and to check the
user manuals. Visit the server at
http://sig-writing.publication-archive.com/start. Register as a user,
and then change your 'My account' data to choose the frequency of
notifications about newly published entries.
2. L1-Educational Studies in Language and Literature.
This journal, now in its fifth year, will be available online, with free
access for all, from 2006 on. All back issues will be available, as well
as articles in prepublication. Additionally, the publisher of the
journal, the IAIMTE, have added an online archive.
Visit the L1-repositories at:

us to make this repository successful is welcome: there is a vacancy for
editors for the L1 ArchivesOnline.
