Eric:
(It's hard not to think of you as the Minnesota Family Man -- is that
what MnFamilyMan stands for? Or Family of Man? Just curious - )
Do you work in a Department of Human Services Office? Is that the kind
of service delivery you're talking about? Could you please explain
concretely what you do?
I ask because your posting suggest this (perhaps I missed an earlier
explanation -- I also missed your introduction). I'm presently working
with an activist local union of welfare caseworkers who are dealing with
the impact of welfare reform on their clients and on their workforce.
They are having a remarkable amount of sucesss considering what they're
facing. I'd have some more to say on this is this is indeed what you're
talking about when you refer to state funding and getting it to the
people who need the assistance.
Thanks -
