Paul,

Thanks, I bookmarked the site. I have mixed feelings about the second point
though. I think the model is interesting, but it seems designed for making
a journal more dymanic which I see as differing from the intent of the
monthly papers. I see the paper discussion as an important element of XCMA,
so I would be uncomortable with having it seperated on the webpage. The
paper idea emerged as an off shoot of the archive page to help facilitate
discussion on xcma.

I would be curious about others thoughts on the matter because in many ways
the paper discussion emerged from committee. I tend to see it as an
important form of engagement by those who may or may not be "active" in
regular ongoing xcma discussions. Those who have vollunteered their time by
submitting papers have seen it as an important part of xcma.

Again, thanks for the link.

  Hi all.

  Foreshock.

This looks interesting and I'm assuming that some other xmca-folk might so
find it. The auto-response-leads-you-to-appropriate-discussion-group
organization of the cyber journal is quite interesting. It might provide a
model on which to channel discussions on readings of the month (e.g., post
them to xmca webpage sublist, not xmca).

mike, you'll also note that they have an article on the iq/genetics,
Jensen stuff.

You're invited to visit the new website of the radical journal, cy.Rev, "A

Cybernetic Revolution, Sustainable Socialism & Radical Democracy", with
related
contributions and political discussions based on its articles.

  The url is www.cyrev.net

We are dedicated to updating the revolutionary tradition to take into
account the explosion of the information economy, globalization,
environmental destruction and the current struggles of the masses of
humanity for survival, justice and dignity.

The Current Issue takes you to the latest issue of cy.Rev, #6. The Archive
contains all previous issues including our groundbreaking Promise And Peril
of the Third Wave in Issue 1. Contributions contains additional articles
that are of interest to cy.Rev readers. Please note the new article by Jerry
Harris and Bill Robinson, Fissures in the Globalist Ruling Bloc?and one by
John Beckwith exposing the latest fallacies to come out of the "IQists"
(scientists who continue to attempt to "prove" a link between IQ and
genetics).
