I don't think it will take any of these things to happen for change since
they are happening. It is mostly white males who are not from the lowest
ends of the social strata doing all the shooting in schools. I can't quite
figure out whether schools are or are not about educating children or what
this education really is or should be? I do get the feeling though that
Phils ruminations about instrumental rationality not being well connected
with emotional development might make sense to think about here.
