Unfortunately it's not the case that: "It is mostly white males who are not
from the lowest
ends of the social strata doing all the shooting in schools. " It's just
that those are the shootings that one hears about mainly. The number of
school shootings in inner cities, ghetto schools, has been going on for a
lot longer, and the total numbers of people killed in these shootings is far
greater than the relative handful killed in the recent Colorado and related
events. It's just that these garden variety incidents never make it to the
news BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT WHITE PEOPLE GETTING KILLED!!!! But then it's
probably not of interest to the people in Montana anyway. How's detective
Furman getting along up there anyway.
