For Kozulin, I suppose it was history as conflict to a certain extent.
Deconstructing and resconstructing Vygotsky as in whose the legitimate
heir. Maybe at a certain level it was creating conflict where none exists.
I have also sensed this "conflict" in some of the intro's and epilougues in
the collected works especially regarding Leontiev and Vygotsky.
