Your story about titling is similar to mine. Strange that the larger
constraints get left out of speculations of this sort. I wanted to call
my book Culture in Mind, not Cultural Psychology, but another book by
that title came out just as my book was being set so I was told by
Harvard marketing to hurry up and change the title to something catchy,
which made me change some text at the beginning too, and which positioned
me in a place I didn't want to be.
darned semiosis. so difficult to pin down unique meanings! :-)
