Hi Martin-- A little early for my library to open, but I will certain
ly track down the mesostructure paper. Where there is mesogenesis, there
just might be meso-structures. Not using that terminology, and not yet
having arrived at the idea of mesogenetic time scale, I made an argument
based on S.F. Nadel and M. Fortes for activities as the meeting point
of macro and micro in the 1985 Wertsch volume on culture, comm, and
cogntiition.
To paraphrase a line of Goethe's, "Everything has been thought of before,
the trick is to think of it again under appropriate circumstances."
Thanks.
