Should I note that this medium seems to lend itself to this sort of
phenomenon, for reasons I don't fully understand?
Should I mention that it is just this kind of misinterpretation and
misunderstanding (going both ways, I'm sure) that indicates to me the
necessity for interpretive research? If you and I coded our exchange of
messages, would our codings agree? How do you capture, in the methods you
use, the ambiguity of text, the perspectival character of understanding?
Should I confess that I'm tired, and disappointed by the difficulties of
trying to explain my views, sustain community, share ideas?
Should I just say, okay! Have it your way!
