Greetings from Finland! I am a business teacher educator in The Teacher
Education Institute of Finnish Business College in Helsinki. My interest in
in complex teaching-and learning environments and in learning processes,
the focus in the latter being especially on the problem of orientation. My
framework is Activity Theory in the "leont'evian" meaning, and what it means
nowadays (activity? complex teaching and learning environments?). Engestr|m,
Cole, Wertsch, Hedegaard are researchers I am highly interested in, and of
course those Finnish developers of the Activity Theory and its Finnish approach,
Developmental work research.

My own research deals with the orientation process in business education and the
theories come mainly from Galperin, Davydov and Engestr|m.
