Sorry, I am always forgetting to move my cursor away from the reply button. Anyway Leontiev and Vygotsky are proposed as an alternative to Turiel's domain theory (which we found very problematic). The article citation is Glassman, M. & Zan, B. (1995). Moral activity and domain theory: An alternative interpretation of research with young children. Developmental Review, 15, 434-457. Probably works best as a critique of Turiel, but maybe a starting place.
