I'm attaching an article on inner form written in 1929 by Leopold. It focuses on the work of Anton Marty, a student of Brentano and contemporary of Husserl. Shpet, whose lectures on the same topic were attended by Vygotsky, wrote about Marty's work. I am not suggesting a direct influence of Marty on LSV, merely that the term was in common use at that time. Martin
