[xmca] (science) teachers' models of teaching (science) and notions of (responding to) student diversity

Dear XMCA members,

I am participating in a large EU-funded research project on student diversity and science teaching. For setting up semi-ethnographic case studies, I am interested in two types of instruments:

1. Instruments to collect data on (science) teachers' notions of (a) student diversity, (b) its relevance to (science) education, and (c) ways to respond to it.

2. Instruments to collect data on (science) teachers' models of teaching (science).

In the project, we want to employ questionnaires, interviews, and classroom observations.

I would appreciate any suggestions, comments, advice, etc.

Thanks in advance,

Michiel van Eijck
