i rather love this way this sounds! although it may be beyond the scope of
this list,
i do know several folks here who would have much to contribute.
i'm taking some time to gather me thoughts - stammering between fellowship
applications and all the creative writing that goes into that -
but do want to attempt to draw some pertinent lines with what you've
written,
and jay,
and thoughts on race/sex/ ideologies, and such. hmmmm.
nicely put. thanks thanks.
cheers

"Waves of hands, hesitations at street corners, someone dropping a
cigarette in a gutter - all are stories. But which is the true story? That
I do not know. Hence I keep my phrases hung like clothes in a cupboard,
waiting for someone to wear them. Thus waiting, thus speculating, making
this note and then another, I do not cling to life."
Virginia Woolf, The Waves, 1931.
