Hello David,

Glad to see you back. Your self-identification post stimulates me to ask
you to expand a bit on how pragmatism, via symbolic interactionism, is
playing out in your work. There is an extremely rich history of theory and
research there that warrants, it has alway seemed to me, recovery and
rehabilitation as our understanding of learning reorients itself to the
social situatedness and biological constraint that was such a focus of the
early work in this vein.

How do mathematical concepts "emerge" in such a conception (or is concept
the right term?). How does that processs differ between Korean and American
sites?
