I...I...I... I guess I missed the hostility in my post about
alternative sources to the grrrreat! white hype;
a few folks have let me know
it was perceived as... um, ill-mannered... It was the Audre Lorde quote, huh?
Too much?
but...
>ignorance and visciousness...
>>or
>>continue to spout venom and forcibly oppositionalize, victimize, and
>>ostracize those who refuse to be colonized by your personal type of
>>hegemony?
Is that what I was doing?Yikes. If that's how the quote was received, then,
I must be ...a... a... radical dyke feminist. You know, we're awful people,
really.
Hey, Stephanie, all kidding aside, I'm *sorry*.
I always cringe when women attack
women in defense of white male academia. That's all. I promise I won't
spout venom or do any of those other horrible things, no fire-breathing
rants or poison-tipped keyboard quotes.
I'll just be nice. From now on.
