I will like to lift any questions... I dont doubt what in the
educational process (not solely scholastic) there are restrictions and
pain, because the children must to internalize the social meaning,
"restrain" their desires more primary (we can to think this
psychoanalilly). But the social relations - those marked by classes
differences - can to impede the development of persons.
Riviere - the spanish vygotskyan - have one interesting idea: the
social environment give the problems to the children - adaptation,
insertion, humanization - and too offers the solutions - ex: the scientific
tools, science, working tools, etc...
In the sense - considering the social classes - this questions have
several dimensions when we thinking the scholastic education: if we consider
the school as ideological apparatus and there threre is the social
reproduction, the social differences can not be overcome... if we consider
the school as the space of emergence of social contradictions and the
knowledge is the mark and propriety of humanity which must be appropriate by
men eithout discrimination we can to glimpse any alternatives to the
democratization of society...
Thus, we must search the sense of relations which are established in the
social and scholastic contexts - I think what we must to think the
educational question as the possibility to humanization and to discuss how
the humanization ocurrs in the capitalistic system whit the classes division...
Much authors have indicate - and my experience too - what between
pupils and teachers there is one contradiction whose background is based in
the ideological differences. These differences were maked over the social
classes differences.
In the sense, in our country, we defend what the teachers, the
school managers, the specialists who work in the school - psychologist,
pedagogy worker, etc... - must making one option - the option by liberty, by
superation of classes contradictions, by democratization of society...
Really is necessary the educators assume one political option front their
work... The difficulty is become these principles in pedagogical practice
Do you see the massacre of "workers without land" in the Brasil in
the last week? Were horrible, one cowardice against the workers, one smut in
the social democratization process... The struggle is very big and slow...

Please, excuse me by relief in the last sentence...
