My apologies for note including this in my note on Soviets and individual
differences. A general reference book on Soviet Psych as it existed
in the 1960's, when a lot of these debates were first aired systematically
after Stalin's death, is Cole and Maltzman. *Handbook of Soviet Psychology*
BAsic Books. 1969.

Mike,
Is that a different book than "A Handbook of Contemporary Soviet
Psychology" (1969). Basic Books ??? If so, is it still in print?

Anoter book (I just got a copy of and have only skimmed it) that provides a
general dicussion is Petrovsky, A. (1990). Psychology in the Soviet Union: A
historical outline. Moscow: Progress Publishers. (Englisg translation by
Nakhapetyan) -Steve
