In our book _Moral Classrooms, Moral Children: Creating a Constructivist
Atmosphere in Early Education_, Betty Zan and I discuss democratic education in
preschool and kindergarten, with lots of classroom transcripts. We would like
to know how Vygotskians react to our "Piagetian" framework. Have we become
Vygotskian without realizing it? All teachers operate in the ZPD which does
not specify how the teacher is to intervene/engage.
