I can't speak to Pierce/activity theory connections and
differences, but just in case people haven't seen it--Jim Garrison, a
good friend and solid Dewey philosopher, has just had published a paper
on Dewey and sociocultural theory in the American Educational Research
Journal. From my perspective, it's a nice piece of work--I'll be
interested in what others think.
