Rebecca, do you know Valerie Walkderdine's work (specifically, THE
MASTERY OF REASON)? Also, less specific to how intra-familial dynamics
get played out in the classroom, Shoshana Feldman's discussion of
Lacan (I can't remember the book title) has a chapter analogizing
pedagogy & psychoanalysis.
