*Assistant Professor in Social Psychology*The Department of Psychology of
Boston College invites applications for a tenure-track position as
Assistant Professor in Social Psychology to begin July 1, 2018. For an
outstanding candidate, appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level
is possible. Areas of interest include but are not limited to social
neuroscience, social cognition, computational modeling, and cultural
psychology. Applicants will be evaluated on their potential to establish a
prominent, externally funded research program and to excel in teaching at
both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Applicants should apply at
http://apply.interfolio.com/44047 and provide PDFs of a cover letter, CV,
research statement, and teaching statement outlining teaching experience
and philosophy. Applicants should also arrange to have three letters of
reference submitted directly by their letter writers, using the "request
recommendations" link on Interfolio. These letter writers should be named
in the cover letter. All materials must be submitted on or before October
1, 2017 for full consideration. Review of applications will continue until
