A friend wrote to Dep. PM and Education Minister, Julia
Gillard, objecting to the testing regime imported to Oz from
the US, and Gillard replied:
"There can be no valid reason for schools doing anything
other than teaching literacy and numeracy and some basic
test preparation to ensure students demonstrate good
achievement in NAPLAN assessments."
Dumb and dumber.
