Yep, like I said, there is a scary consistency here. Paige, the secretary
of Ed, has said that schools that do NOT allow prayer will be subject to
loss of public funding. Cut afterschool programs for poor kids and headstart.
Tax breaks on dividends for the monied classes. War come what may on G.W.'s
time schedule.
Yesterday, ABC/Fox radio guy here in San Diego said anyone who thought that
going to war NOW against Iraq was proof the person was a socialist/communist
and if they didn't like this country, why didn't they leave.
When Ken Goodman began posting his comments about mean times on xmca
years ago, I doubt if he could forsee just how mean it could get. And it
isn't over yet, not by a long shot. (And don't doubt for a moment that shot
is not the correct term)>
