Dear Gary,

Obviously nothing has been done about the "crisis in psychology" because it
has been 80 years since Vygotsky wrote about it and there is an even more
splintered methodology now then ever. The only playing that appears to be
done are the professors in their ivory towers who get a wild hair and apply
for a million dollar grant to study the behaviors of 6 year old bullies.
What good is going to come from such a study if the field of psychology would
explain the bully behavior as an unfulfilled ego, the anthropology field
would explain it as a cultural issue, and the field of sociology would
explain it by saying the child needs to get in touch with their feelings. In
order for the social sciences to be taken seriously as a discipline all
social scientists MUST agree what theories are correct for explaining human
behavior. There are teachers who still believe Autism is a behavioral
disorder. Lets stop 'playing' with our theory of the month club and start
unifying our approach.

Good day,
Eric
