Dear Members and Friends of the CH-SIG,

Please remember to advertise the mini-course that the SIG will be sponsoring
at AERA. A slightly revised flyer is attached to print out, distribute to
colleagues, and post. Contact information is included on the flyer.

If you have the chance to add a word, please emphasize the below:
The mini-course is really a forum for graduate students to develop
relationships with mentors (known scholars) and peers that will continue
throughout the school year. It's an excellent opportunity for grad students
who orient to a sociocultural tradition to enter conversations focused on
their OWN DATA and the development of a research methodology appropriate to
their data. The mini-course requires that students send UP TO (i.e., NO MORE
THAN) 5 pages of data -- could be less -- or a page or so of questions, so
that the instructors (8 of them) will know ahead of time what students might
want/need to talk about. Please see the flyer for specifics and for contact
information.

Apologies to anyone who has received this recently on any other mailing
list.

Judy
