The google search engine on the lchc page (http://lchc.ucsd.edu/ ) is very useful. Just something to note -- the way this search engine incorporates the logical search terms is by using such things as "-" instead of "not". So a search for a citation of bandura, but not inclusive of Mary's postings (Mary has a Bandura quote in her sig block and so the same citation appears over and over without the exclusion) is to enter into the search field:

bandura -bryson

An advanced search, which makes things easier to find citations on xmca is available at google:

http://www.google.com/advanced_search

and enter "lchc.ucsd.edu" into the Domains field to limit the search to xmca.

BTW, if you want to see your own postings archived for the rest of humanity -- and get a better sense of how many you have sent to the list and how many have cited you, just do a search for your own name. (At the top right it tells you how many hits it found. ) It's Warhol ad humanus finitem -- on xmca you are "out there" in the spotlight for as long as people want to read your stuff.
