This morning I spoke with Jim Conroy, Manager, Fulfillment and Customer
Relations at LEA re problems some of you are experiencing when trying to
establish an electronic subscription to MCA. Here is the gist of what he said:
Their volume of email is very high; sometimes it takes more than a day
to get through it all. Once they receive the request, they process the credit
card, the card is then entered into their system. Twice a week all info
is sent to
their access provider in the UK for processing (sometimes taking up to
48 hrs). All this takes approximately a week. Once access is approved,
the subscriber is notified via email of their ID number, then they must
go online and go through the steps of activating the sub.
Bottom line: Access is not immediate; give it a week.
